Today was a nice day. First in the morning we did our morning work, which was about a pie chart of how big the continents are. It was pretty easy for me, but maybe not for others. Then after that, we took pictures about learning. That was my favorite part of the day. I took a picture of parts of a clock. I really liked how I took a picture of the clock. Everybody had creative and cool ideas.
After we did all that, we had to go to music. In music we just sang some of our songs from Seussical. Then after that, we went back to class because we don't have P.E. and because the 4th and 5th graders go swimming at the W.S.C.
When we got back, we did our Lit Circles. Among the Hidden is a very interesting book. I hope we finish it before spring break. This week I'm the word finder. Word Finder is really easy. I wish every novel we read we did Lit Circles. It's really fascinating. After that Mrs. T talked about her ring being stolen 3 years ago, and that we're going to make a leprechaun trap to get her ring back. We're going to make the leprechaun trap out of milk gallons, cereall boxes, etc. I can't wait till we do that.
Soon after it was time for study hall/band. I'm in band, and I play the trumpet. We just do the same thing in band besides playing different songs. When we got back, we went to lunch. I had a cold lunch, but I wish I had hot lunch because they had enchiladas. It looked really tasty. Then it was time for recess and I was played with Emma and Lindsey. We did some crazy things out there. It was really fun. Then when we got inside, we corrected our D.O.L sentences. That went by fast. Then the rest of the day we did math. In math I had fun. We learned about protractors. We got to play on spyguy.com. We did activities with protractors on the smartboard. We learned how to measure on a protractor.Then it was the end of the day, and we did agenda.Then I gave Mrs. Truby a big hug, and went home.
